Abundant Autumn Happenings in the EM this October

October is filled with an abundance of Autumn activities in the East Mountains. Whether you like wildlife, horses, pumpkins, or changing leaves — you’ll find it here in the EM! There are numerous events happening all month!  It begins on October 13 with “Pumpkin Carving” at Edgewood Community Library. Next weekend is… Oct 19 “Trick or Treat” at Vista Grande Community Center, and October 20 is “Wolf Appreciation Day” at Wildlife West, and “Fall Open House” at Blue Barn Stable, then head to Sierra Blanca Brewing Co. for family fun & games.  Final weekend, the Halloween fun begins on October 27 with the “3rd Annual Trick or Treat” indoors at the always-unique Church Street Market, and Sunday afternoon Oct 28 “Fall Paint Party” will have you painting an Autumn scene like a pro. Finally, the month wraps up with THREE East Mountain traditions: Oct 30 “Fall Fun Festival” at Legacy Church, then Halloween Night October 31: “26th Annual Trick-or-Treat Trailer-to-Trailer” at RV Sales in Moriarty -and- “Trunk or Treat” outside at Edgewood Community Library (with fire trucks and police cruisers too).
