Greater Edgewood Area Chamber is proud to host expert business consultant and speaker Vic Berniklau on March 15 (12-1pm) at Sandia Labs Federal Credit Union in Edgewood. He will briefly talk on the, “Just-Keep-It-Going Management Myth” and then open the floor to members to ask questions and get valuable business input and ideas. Networking and lunch (11:45am) round out this most-productive hour of your month ($10, members and prospective members welcome).
As the founder of two successful electronic security companies (Home Security Systems and Industrial & Commercial Security Systems), Vic understands first-hand small business concerns. He grew those businesses to 30 employees and $2 million in annual sales while working his ‘day job’ as a Senior Executive at the US Department of Energy, following 35 years of Service in the US Navy, Atomic Energy Commission and DOE.
He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering and MBA, and has used his education and experience as an Adjunct Faculty member at the UNM School of Public Administration and at the Anderson School of Business.
Now retired, Vic shares his business expertise as a consultant and has been with SCORE Albuquerque for over 10 years, helping hundreds of local clients as a mentor with their business challenges, presented SCORE workshops and facilitates a SCORE Business Owners Council.
