At Good Shepherd, Jesus Christ is the center of everything we do. He is our Savior and Lord. He is God Himself Who has come down to us as man, died for us to forgive our sins, rose from the dead to give us eternal life, ascended into Heaven to intercede for us. This salvation is a free gift which He offers us through His Word, in our Baptism, and in His Body and Blood given to us in the Lord’s Supper. All of our teaching rests on the Bible, the inspired Word of God.
We worship in the traditional way which the Christian has used for over 2,000 years. With verses from the Bible we confess our sins and receive God’s complete forgiveness. As it is written in 1 John 1:8-9, “If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Each week we learn from God’s Word how He walks with us everyday, lifting us, guiding us, working through us to save the world.
