Town of Edgewood

Founded in the early 1930s, Edgewood was a farming and ranching community homesteaded by a number of families that still maintain deep roots in the community. In 1999, Edgewood was incorporated and later annexed large areas of land extending its boundaries into Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe counties. The Town of Edgewood now stretches out over a 16 mile area in the southwestern portion of Santa Fe County. Located 20 miles East of Albuquerque on Interstate 40, Edgewood is considered a bedroom community for commuters looking to escape the big city. Population at 2010 Census was 3,735 (1,647 households) with a median household income of $59,375 (95% of adults are high school graduates or higher).
