Edgewood Trails Day – June 10

Edgewood Trails Day set for Saturday, June 10. To celebrate National Get Outdoors Day, the Town of Edgewood is hosting this all-day, activities-based event. Activities will be held on Section 16, with check-in at the Edgewood Sports Pavilion (next to the soccer field on NM 344, just north of Dinkle Rd.). See flyer for all activity times, please.

The fun includes several activities, for which participants should bring their own gear (horse, bike, helmet) and your favorite picnic. Dogs must be on leash at all times. The day begins with a horse trail ride led by High Desert Riders (9:30-11:30am), community dog walk with Edgewood Animal Control (11:00am-12:00pm), community picnic at the pavilion (11:30am-1:00pm), and Bike Safety activities with Edgewood Police Dept. (1:00pm-3:00pm). A drawing for several bicycles and helmets is courtesy of Church Street Market and EPCOR. For the nighttime movie, bring a lawn chair or blanket, your favorite snacks, and meet out onto the soccer field. Edgewood Chamber of Commerce is helping to organizing portions of the day’s activities (volunteer opportunities available).

Edgewood is celebrating its status as a town of trails, preserving an active, outdoor, and equestrian lifestyle that has long been a part of its heritage. Come Hike-Bike-Ride the Greenside.
