Wind Festival

Spring time in New Mexico brings wind and sunny skies, creating perfect conditions for our Annual Wind Festival at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood. The skies will be filled with colorful kites of all shapes and sizes throughout the weekend. Visitors can bring their own kite, buy one at the Festival, or watch professional stunt kite fliers maneuver kites expertly in the wind. Visitors can participate in kite flying contests or just fly their kites for fun on large grass fields.
