FUZZY FUN OPEN HORSE SHOW FUNDRAISER SET FOR FEBRUARY 17
Proceeds benefit New Mexico Horse Rescue

Edgewood Chamber member Walkin N Circles Ranch, a non-profit horse rescue that rehabilitates and finds homes for abandoned and neglected horses, is hosting a fundraising horse show on Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Edgewood Equestrian Center, 91 W. Frontage Rd.

Classes will include horsemanship, barrel racing, reining, and more. High point belt buckles for each age division and gate prizes will be awarded. If you’re interested in participating, visit the events page at www.wncr.org for a registration form and class list. Members of the community and the media are invited to attend.

Founded in 2002, Walkin N Circles is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to rescuing and caring for horses that have been abandoned, abused, or in some cases, destined for the slaughterhouse. The rescue is financed by donations, grants and the Hug-A-Horse Thrift Store in Edgewood, New Mexico. It is licensed, regulated and inspected annually by the NM State Livestock Board. Because of our committed care, primarily by more than 100 volunteers, the ranch has created miraculous transformations for some of these magnificent animals. Our mission is to provide all rescued equines with new beginnings and productive lives with loving, adoptive families. We currently have nearly 50 horses on the ranch with several more in foster care.
