WiFi Upgrades Could Be on the Way

The Town of Edgewood recently received some funding from the NM Attorney General’s office to help improve access to WiFi  in Edgewood. Mayor John Bassett and Mayor Pro Temp John Abrams recently attended the ceremony where AG Hector Balderas announced the recipients. The Town intends to make free WiFi signal available in the area where the town’s library, playground, and soccer complex are located (NM 344, just north of Dinkle Rd). The need for improved Internet service is often a topic of discussion in the East Mountains, where signal can be impacted by distances and the hills and valleys of the region.
