About 50 members and guests gathered at the Edgewood Chamber of Commerce “Winter Mixer” on Dec 15. The quarterly gathering was co-hosted by Church Street Market (Dianna & Clay Williams) who provided a unique venue and The Independent (Leota Harriman) who served up a stellar posole along with some exciting news to celebrate its 5th Anniversary with Harriman at the helm. In remarks, Harriman announced her plans to form The Independent News Foundation which will support journalism through training and internships made available within the region. Members of East Mountain Chamber of Commerce were invited and joined the celebration to share the region-wide networking opportunity. The festive evening was rounded out with “2016 Year in Review” presentation and numerous prizes, including Spotlight Profiles and the grand prize — a One-Year Enhanced Membership!
Edgewood Chamber hosts quarterly mixers and twice-quarterly lunch meetings to round out monthly networking opportunities.
